Engaging with over 50 people over the age of 55 we discussed their personal roles within the community, their abilities and willingness to take part and what barriers are preventing their access to do so.
We develop an understanding of their skills, opinions and how active they are, whether they felt isolated or fearful, what things they enjoyed and built a profile of how the older members of our community would like to spend their free time, the services that would benefit them and what actions we can take as a community group to ensure they are provided that ability.
