Keep Calm and Carry On Radio Drama – 2022

During these last few years we wanted to deliver another session of our stage play “Keep Calm and Carry On” unfortunately we were struck with COVID-19, with this and various other illnesses and conditions we lost a portion of our original cast and we wanted to do something to immortalise this great piece of work.

That is when we came up with the idea of adapting it for radio, with COVID still on the rise at the time, we amended the script and safely brought the actors in one by one to record their lines, this was our first time doing a project like this and the overall length of the project was over a year long. We hope you enjoy the radio drama as much as we did making it and welcome any feedback.

The actors did a great job portraying their roles, a couple members of the cast had only seen the script for the first time before their first recording session below you can see a gallery showing the cast members and the role they was playing.

Below are some additional photos from when the cast had heard the radio play for the first time! We all dressed up in period clothes and really got the atmosphere going.

We would like to thank Salix homes for supporting us produce this piece of work.

Here you can read a review written by Journalist Kayla Harriss during the time we began production on the radio drama.
