The Line dancing group has been established for several years. The group was originally ran by Lesley with the support of a few volunteers, after the Line Dancing sessions rose in popularity we realised that there was a need to hire a dedicated tutor to help push the sessions forward. The group has gone from strength to strength, with numbers increasing every year, this is also a great opportunity for people to socialise as it more than just dancing it is also a social evening/event, where people can come and have a brew, chat, and listen to music and stay healthy and active, as a healthy life style is a key area we like to support in the community, the line dancing group also hold themed events and a sponsored line dances to raise funds for our charity.

Angela who attended the weekly sessions said;

“What a fab way to spend your evening. The company is excellent and the dancing so enjoyable. I felt tired before coming to the session but felt soooo good after, I hope this continues to go on!”

Someone else who has been attending the sessions said;

“The weather was dreadful, but made an effort to come dancing. Having the company was good, we danced, laughed and talked! What a lovely evening!”
