In 2019 we worked closely with Kieron McGlasson from Sow the City to put 10 members of the community on a Horticultural course, with an AQA qualification for organic growing to be gained at the end, which will enable them to provide knowledge to new members who get involved as well as the children from the local schools who we will be working with in the upcoming year, this knowledge includes, the reasons for organic growing, techniques and tools to improve soil fertility, identifying diseases and pests and their organic control methods, making a root solution and propagating cuttings as well as the importance of crop rotation.
